Mobi PCS Opens New Maui Store in Kihei, Third New Location in Sixth Months

Honolulu, HI - Honolulu, HI—Mobi PCS has opened a Kihei store, its second location on island.
The new Mobi store is located in Azeka Shopping Center at 1280 South Kihei Road. The 470-square-foot store is located next to Taco Bell in the former Pizza Hut location.
Mike Tuttle is the Maui island manager. Because of the increase in retail locations on Maui, the company has hired three new employees. Mobi employs approximately 100 people across the state.
The Kihei location is the third new Mobi store to open in six months. The company opened two Oahu stores in late 2009: a Nanakuli store in November and a Downtown Honolulu (Fort Street Mall) location in December.
On Maui, a Mobi PCS kiosk has operated in Kahului’s Queen Kaahumanu Center since the company launched Maui service in early 2008.
The Kihei store is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A grand opening celebration for the Kihei store is planned for Saturday, April 10. The free event will feature giveaways, popcorn, cotton candy, balloon animals, as well as music provided by KJMD Radio.

In addition, Mobi PCS is available through over 100 dealers across the state, including Kauai and Molokai, as well as through all 7-Eleven and full-service Longs Drugs locations.
