Mobi PCS Opens Mililani Town Center Store Nov. 24 to Coincide with Expanded Wireless Coverage in Central Oahu
November 24, 2006 Honolulu, HI — Honolulu, HI — Mobi PCS will open its seventh retail location on Friday, Nov. 24 at Mililani Town Center. To celebrate the opening, customers who buy a Kyocera Slider for $109 on opening day may purchase a second for only $69.
The opening of the Mililani store coincides with the expansion of Mobi PCS network coverage in Mililani and Wahiawa, as well as in Waimanalo. Though the company will continue to upgrade and strengthen its network, these three areas of Oahu were the last significant portions of the island where coverage was an issue.
The new store will offer the full complement of phones, accessories and services offered at other Mobi PCS locations. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The 1,000-square-foot store is behind Star Market where [retailer] was previously located.
Jack Whitlow will serve as store manager.
"Our customers in Central Oahu have been requesting a retail store in their backyard for some time, and we are pleased to make Mobi PCS that much more convenient for them," explains Bill Jarvis, president and CEO.
A grand opening celebration is planned for early 2007.
