Brown Bags to Stardom Winner Cool Progression Receives Prizes from Mobi PCS President and CEO Bill Jarvis

April 26, 2007— Cool Progression won first place in this year’s Brown Bags to Stardom competition, an outreach effort of the non-profit Music Foundation of Hawaii. The five young men are students at Kamehameha Schools – Maui campus.

Each member of the group received a phone and one year of unlimited phone usage from Mobi PCS, commencing when service is launched on Maui (valued at $4,500). Cool Progression also received a $2,000 cash prize.
The overall second-place winner was Max Louie of Pearl City High School, while Colin Kamemoto of Kamehameha Schools – Kapalama campus placed third.
