The launch of Hele marks a step in the continuing evolution for Mobi, which has focused on wireless phone service since its introduction to Hawaii in January 2006.

About Hele
Hele Wireless Broadband allows a customer to establish a connection to the Internet using a laptop or desktop computer from anywhere within the Mobi PCS coverage area on Oahu. A data card embedded with an antenna will pick up the wireless signal in the same manner as occurs with a cellular phone. Hele wireless broadband requires no phone and no cable connection.

Hele utilizes EV-DO (Evolution Data Optimized), a third-generation wireless high-speed data-access technology. Because of its speed, Hele is a perfect product for the mobile work force or for home-broadband replacement.
