For only $6 per month*, your handset, standard battery and standard home charger are covered for several types of loss, including water damage. Accidentally left your phone at the bus stop? No one expects to lose or damage their phone, but it happens to a significant number of wireless phone customers every day. If your cell phone is your primary mode of communication, being without a phone--and having to buy a new one--is simply a risk you can't afford to take. Mobi PCS Handset Protection gives you peace of mind.
Your phone, Hele data card, standard battery and standard home charger are covered under this program.
The cost of this Mobi feature is $6 per month (plus tax). There is also a $3 setup fee.
Both new and existing Mobi PCS customers can add Handset Protection to their Service Agreement. New customers can sign up at the time of activation, and existing customers can call customer care at 723.1111 or come into one of Mobi's retail store locations
If you are a new customer activating a new phone and plan, your coverage starts immediately. If you are an existing Mobi PCS customer and want to add Handset Protection to your existing phone and plan, your coverage begins 30 days after the day your coverage is activated. For existing customers, Handset Protection can only be added to your plan and activated at the time you pay for your next month's service.
Deductibles apply per occurrence. More than two claim occurrences per 12 month period will cause cancellation from the program.
